I have used the Vista upgrade on my newly bought acer AS5103WMLI laptop & lost the original factory settings.

now acer support staff is asking me £50 to reset back my laptop to original settings as I haven't taken any recovery of the original settings.

could anybody help out

Did you look inside your partitions to see if the hidden part is still there.
