While you are thinking anything for you laptop you must be highly sensitive towards it. Being the most sophisticated machine any minor harm can lead to a big trouble for you. And if it is out of warranty period then it is gone. So always keep a good eye on your laptop. Now having the best firewall especially for you laptop is a tough one to be carried about. As being the portable machines it comes in the interference of many networks and depending upon your usage you always try to change the network so in order to have a full protection from the hacker as well as much harmful script which comes to your laptop while being online one must have a good firewall installed on your Laptop. So be very careful while you are using different networks to connect yourself to the internet.
The other thing you can do is to have a nice firewall installed on your Laptop which continuously monitors your outgoing and incoming packets on the network and warns you for every suspicious bit transferred from your laptop in or out of the system. There are many of them available from freeware to shareware. The most popular among the Freeware category is the Comodo Firewall which has the largest efficiency of blocking all the suspicious traffic from the system.
In fact many of the freeware as we know are buggy but Comodo has excelled for those. Also many of the Antivirus software also come with firewall preinstalled in them but they are not very much efficient enough to stop the suspicious script. So always try to have a good Firewall along with good Antivirus software installed on your Laptop so as to make your Laptop free from any hacker attack.

why my hibernate stopped working.
It is not simply disabled, every time I launch it starts to stop the
machine like if it was going to hibernate and suddenly, it returns to
the login screen.
I began my investigation thinking that all was the fault of my MBR (master Boot Record), and and I suspected also Grub (the linux most used boot loader),
Armed with my courage, I began by an entire laptop backup, and I
try some tools and solutions to fix my MBR, and then everything goes
wrong.
I used the UBCD (ultimate boot cd) to try to repair Grub, with no success, then I used testdisk to remove Grub, this time with success. I then restored my Vista and...
Hibernate still does not function.
I launch testdisk again and I have the idea to analyze my disc, my mbr was completely in disorder with many ghost entries.
I thus decided to make a complete formatting of my disc with a new partitioning, I then restored all my partition one by one.
But at the end I can not succeed to fix one problem, how to make a good
dual boot without Grub and without overwriting the vista new boot
loader.
I sought on the Web and I found vistabootpro, it was for me best the solution.
I tried to use it but I found it a little hard to configure, then I went on their forum and I found a guide "how to dual boot vista and linux".
I start to read it and I fall on this warning "Do not resize the Vista partition during the installation of the Linux distribution".
The question is why?
it is simply due to the change in NTFS versions, no Linux
partitioning program, nor standard Windows partitioning programs, can
properly alter the Vista partition.
(But there is a solution Vista has it's own resizing program)
And I remembered that when I installed my Linux distribution the
easiest and fastest choice was to resize my vista partition and then to
install linux, but I did not see the effects at this moment, that took time to corrupt all my system.
The choice of the formatting with new partitioning was finally a
good choice, and I realized by the same occasion that Grub was
innocent, there was also no danger to overwrite the vista MBR.
I thus finished by reinstalling Grub, and I have now a nice dual boot system Vista/Linux with Grub and most important the hibernate function is now fully working.

Everything was not lose, I decide to use my special weapon an acronis backup of my windows partition located on an external usb hard drive, he,he.
Connecting everything, launching bartpe to manage the recovery it has an Acronis plugin, starting the restoration, everything goes ok. Perfect.
Rebooting, windows start and after connecting with windows update it start downloading installing the last updades. When it have finish with the updates I close everything I reboot and...
Winload.exe is missing or corrupt
Stay cool don't beat it, it's only a machine, after a second restoration I get the same message at the reboot of my first updates, I decide to realy check my partition I launch the BartPe environement and I check that disk (yes I love problems), after a scan with no error , I decide to try another restoration from my usb drive, and then Oh no...
My restore disk get corrupted...
Why, I don't know, why me, cause this was my destiny...
Now it was not any more time to speak to play it was time to fight.
I went in my limps Cd to take the heavy weapon, I mean the Ultimate Boot Cd.
And after all I was not so angry cause, all my important stuff was in the second and third partition, and in the fourth there was...
Linux...
He,he...
To be continued...
