...Now I have to fix my usb drive, it was simple I dismantle the box and I mount it in

my desktop pc has a second drive I then run the Ultimate Boot CD, and I choose for this

mission : Testdisk.

Starting testdisk by choosing my disk, after I choose the menu "analyzing"

It show you the disk partitions, and there states or any problem, if one or more part is

missed or corrupted launch the scan and it will rebuild the correct disc structure.
I've done it and it rebuild my two partition.
It ask me if I want to write to the MBR(master boot record), I reply yes, of course.

I gain access to my disk, but the file system was damaged, my data were unreadable.

Ok, I then run PCI Filerecovery and with this terrible free tool I gain access to my data,

and more(yes sometime, you can retrieve data of an older installation...or recover data

from the trash).

So easy.

Ok after seeking on the net about this "winload.exe is missing or corrupt", I find many forums with discussion about this issue, and also many solution, I also discover that my Vista hibernate problem was certainly due to this totally new loading system, many people who want a dual boot encounter this problem even those who want to run vista and xp.

Failing, to recover vista with many solution I suddenly think winload.exe is missing or corrupted(in system32), so I should find it's original location.

Try to find it by browsing my vista disc, unfortunately nothing, then I load bartpe and I decide to browse my windows folder looking for an eventual boat folder.

Inside windows folder I find one boot folder but no trace of winload.exe, I then open system32 and of course winload was not there but ô surprise there was another boot folder, open it and there was 2 files winload.exe and winresume.exe, I simply copy the 2 files in my system32 folder(hoping that the second will fix my hibernate problem), quickly restart and...

                It's Working...

Sometime the things are so simple, now just two things remain, I mean how to recover the data of my restore disc and how to get my hibernate repaired...

But now it's time to take some rest...

To be continued...
